Not a lot of events to report on today, as it is Sunday, but we did get a few pictures taken. Went to church and got a few pictures of the members...(I tried nonchalantly to get some of the sisters in thier traditional dress...I love looking at all their designs and materials)

Brayden and his friend Karthik

Dallan and his girlfriend Mownika (she's the one I want to bring back with me)

Ryan teasing the young women of the branch...anyone surprised?

We asked the missionaries to come over for dinner tonight. We were fortunate enough that they were available...like they are on most nights. So after church we got to cookin'!

I made chocolate chips cookies for dessert...not as good as they are at home, but they'll have to do. My goal is to perfect them while I am here. Next attempt...homemade brownies. (Mom Riley, could you email me that recipe...I didn't have room to pack it with me.)

And Ryan fried something that looked like it might be a tortilla...but it wasn't. It made for some pretty decent tortilla-ish chips, though...

For dinner we had chicken tacos with all the fixins'. Lettuce (yes, I found a good source for lettuce...but it's iceberg), cheese, tomatoes, homemade salsa (compliments of Ryan, himself!) and some Spanish rice. We didn't just have one set of missionaries over, but 2 sets. Two elders were from the states (Utah and Arizona) and the other elders were both from India (Delhi and Bangalore).  Plus, they brought a ward member with them...who had never had tacos before! Yeah for comfort food! We finally feel like we can cook. Oh, and a special shout out to Ryan's Aunt Barbara and Aunt Pat...Ryan made chocolate gravy and biscuits for breakfast...(everyone was so excited we forgot to take a picture of them before we devoured them).

We had a fun time getting to know the elders ...and the kids had a fun time showing off magic tricks, super human tricks (Davis and his 'crazy eyes'), and all other sorts of Riley shinanagains...here's proof we all enjoyed the evening...

I think the sign above the door says "maximum capacity,  7"...oops, we had 11
in the living room tonight. (and nobody even had to sit on the floor!)
